  • Palestine: land and water management

Land management in Palestine is encountering problems due to the construction of the wall separating Israel and the West Bank; it makes it difficult to agriculturally exploit some areas. In addition to this water management represents another problematic issue. Despite the resources of the river Jordan and important groundwater reserves, Palestinians do not have the possibility to fully exploit the latter as their Israeli neighbours do.
